MegaLauncher background similar to ‘Favorites’

I’ve always liked the way the official Palm ‘Favorites’ screen look like. But I don’t use it, for it’s very limited when it comes to functionality as a launcher. No tabs, no card support. I currently use MegaLauncher 6 Shark.

I played a little with Photoshop and came up with this:

I’ve mimiced the transparency levels and lines, and the text size. I saved the Photoshop file on my hosting space in case you have ML and would like to try it. All you have to do is to get a 320×320 pic, and put it behind the transparent layers that are already set in the file, then you save the image. (sorry didn’t do it for 480×320 displays)

Make sure you can view the ‘Layers’ window.

But first make sure you had set the following in ML:

• The ‘Calendar’ tab is off, so only the info tab and the category tab is on.
• Click on the small monitor on the top right, choose font: Large Bold.
• In the same screen, choose the icons to be aligned in 1 column only.
