VSD

Inspired by studying Cardiology (the science of the heart), this drawing started simply as a guy drowning in the heart blood. The other two guys, the pouring blood, and the VSD just spurted out of nowhere.

[btw, the guy above is trying to get hold of a rope to save the one below -- thought it was not that clear.]

As to VSD (Ventricular Septal Defect) [link] , it’s a medical condition where usually there’s a congenital defect in the barrier separating the right and the left ventricles of the heart, so the the blood – oxygenated and deoxygenated – become mixed and the circulatory system becomes deranged.

The drawing may illustrate the pain people living with VSD have.
