Going Wireless (not naked!)   5 comments

Posting from my Palm TE2 via a GPRS-Bluetooth connection with my Motorola L6. So, this is just a test post to show how cool technology is, and is most likely going to be deleted off this server when I come online.

  1. Cool! No, don’t delete it πŸ˜› Let it be here to show how great technology is *insert geek smiley* Are you blogging by email or online?

  2. Whoa. Sweet. I got to use internet with an IR port with a GPRS enabled phone. It’s horrible. Hope your system works better πŸ™‚

  3. Tina,
I’m bloggin online via https://m.wordpress.com/?action=post — as you see, this thing is great cause it’s small in size, and neat.

Of course it must be horrible using 10 buttons of the phone to type with. It works better here though a wireless keyboard would make it even better. Anyways, who would be blogging wireless all the time?

You guys seem to be interested in this post :), how could I delete it then?
Well, I’ll keep it here for a couple of days until you forget it about πŸ˜€

  4. Well, I didn’t have to type with the phone πŸ™‚ GPRS is actually just a manner of sending and recieving date over the cellphone (I think). When you connect it, the computer just uses it as a modem (minus the noises). It’s incredibly slow, and the phone kept shutting off. That’s why it was actually so bad.

  5. I thought you meant posting via GPRS.
Yeah, GPRS speed is nearly as slow as 56K connections.
